Exam Results 2015
St George’s School can report another excellent set of GCSE and A-Level results for 2015, again set in a context where many schools within the city and across the country experienced a dip in student attainment and achievement.
At A Level (A2) 100% of students passed with an A-E grade of which 45% were A-B grades and 70% A-C grades.
All our Year 13 students who applied through UCAS obtained the University place of their choice.
Overall 75% of Year 11 students gained 5 or more A*-C grades at GCSE.
71% of students achieved 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Mathematics.
English had outstanding results achieving 90% A*-C grades.
The school achieved 100% A*-C passes in Biology, Chemistry , Physics, Drama, Music, Photography, PE and over 85% in English Literature, French, Geography, ICT and RE.
Over 44% of the results in all entries at GCSE were A*/ A or B grades.
The school achieved a 100% pass rate, with all students achieving 5 or more A*-G grades.
