Our Year 11 students recently visited Carding Mill Valley for an engaging geography field trip, designed to bring their classroom studies to life. Located in the Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the valley provided a perfect setting for students to explore key geographical concepts like river processes, erosion, and landscape management.

Students conducted hands-on fieldwork, collecting data, analyzing river features, and observing the valley’s unique environment. This trip not only deepened their understanding of geography but also developed their skills in teamwork, critical thinking, and data analysis, enhancing their overall learning experience in a real-world setting.
