Prep School welcomed parents of children from Years 3-6 to participate in a Reading for Pleasure coffee afternoon. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to choose a book to share with their parents along with a hot drink and a cookie in the Prep school library.

At St George’s, we recognise that reading for pleasure is essential for building children’s vocabulary, supporting children to succeed across the curriculum and is an important factor in developing empathy and emotional well-being.
