Key Stage 4

In Year 9 students begin studying for their GCSEs, following the Pearson Edexcel curriculum.

All students start on the Combined Science course but have the opportunity to move onto the Separate Science course towards the end of Year 10. Students complete all their formal exams at the end of Year 11.

Key Stage 5

At KS5 students are given the opportunity to study any combination of Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-level. All 3 subjects follow the OCR curriculum and are taught over 2 years.

In addition to their final grade, students are also awarded a Practical Accreditation award which is assessed internally over the length of the course.
