Exam Contingency Days

The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) have designated their contingency dates for the summer exams series 2025. The dates set aside are:

  • Wednesday 11th June (PM)
  • Wednesday 25th June (AM and PM)

    Contingency day(s) for ALL external examinations are implemented “in the event of widespread, sustained national or local disruption to examination during the June 2025 examination series”.

    This means that students sitting external examinations in June 2025 need to be available up until and including on Wednesday 25th June, in the event that they are required to sit any exams which had been moved to the designated contingency dates set by the exam governing bodies.
