Curriculum
Key Stage 3
Art is a compulsory subject at Key Stage 3, which at St George’s ends after Year 8.
At the end of Year 8, students can choose to carry on with Art as a GCSE option.
Key Stage 4
Key Stage 4 runs through Years 9, 10 and 11.
GCSE students will study the OCR Fine Art course.
Key Stage 5
Key Stage 5 runs through Years 12 and 13.
A-Level students will study the OCR Fine Art course.

Subject Specific Equipment
All students are expected to bring basic school equipment to each lesson. All additional equipment required for Art lessons is available to use in school.
GCSE and A-level students are provided with sketchbooks. The school also offers students the ability to purchase an Art pack for independent work outside of the school, however this is not mandatory as there is equipment available to use in school.
