- This year, students will complete their Portfolio project responding to the theme ‘Distortion’, ‘Moments in Time’ or ‘Surroundings’. The Portfolio is 60% of the overall grade and is marked using the assessment objectives below.
- The project will conclude in the Autumn Term of Year 11 with students creating their final piece during the mock exam.

Students completed their ‘Final Piece” for this project during their Mock Exams.
In the spring term students will receive the externally set task set by OCR, they will then be able to choose which question to investigate for this body of work.
The Final Piece will be completed in the 10-hour Exam in the summer term.

Subject Overview:
Students in Year 11 have 3 Art lessons each week.
In Year 11, students have 1 piece of homework set every week.
Assessments:
Students in Year 11 have a mock exam at the end of the Autumn Term which lasts for two full days.
Students will then sit their final exam in the Summer Term.
