By this point in the academic year, we have completed the course content and we are focusing on revision, exam technique and pace. The revision for this term is focused on the speaking examination.
By this point in the academic year, we have completed the course content and we are focusing on revision, exam technique and pace. Revision for this term continues on the speaking examination but with an additional focus on examination questions for the Listening, Reading and Writing parts of the exam.
Subject Overview:
Students in Year 11 have 3 French lessons each week.
In Year 11 students have homework set every week. This is linked to their GCSE studies and will include regular examination practice questions.
Assessments:
Students throughout Year 11 are formally assessed through Reading and Writing Assessments.
Students speaking and listening skills are practiced during lessons with feedback given to students during lesson time.
Practice papers from the AQA website are complete by students once a half term, with GCSE style questions being practised on a weekly basis.
Students will also sit mock exams during the Autumn Term so personalised practice and revision can be given to each student
