Prepare Portfolio Content
Topic Objectives:
- Prepare (including gathering and creating assets) extracts and other content for portfolio
- Convert content to acceptable file formats
- Create a logical folder structure for content
- Ensure all content is stored within the portfolio folder structure
Create Portfolio Web Pages
Topic Objectives:
- Use appropriate web authoring tools and techniques
- Choose a colour scheme appropriate to the portfolio
- Use appropriate page formatting features based on the content

Testing the Portfolio
Topic Objectives:
- Students will check all the pages and content are within the portfolio folder structure
- Students will activate links to internal content
- Students will test the digital portfolio for functionality and document any actions required
- Students will test the digital portfolio for usability and document any actions required
Reviewing the Portfolio
Topic Objectives:
- Students will consider the extent to which the portfolio meets the needs of the audience and the purpose
- Studends will evaluate the design documentation and any changes made during development of the portfolio
- Studends will incorporate comments from end reviewers
Subject Overview:
Students in Year 11 have 3 ICT lessons each week.
In Year 11 students have homework set every week, homework consists of completing Unit 3 in students’ own time.
Assessments:
Students have one internal assessment Unit 3: A Digital Portfolio.
Students also have ene external assessment
Unit 1: The Online World.
Students will also sit mock exams during the Autumn Term so personalised practice and revision can be given to each student
