The two years of Sixth Form are an important time for students as they look to their future and work towards achieving long held dreams and ambitions.

At St George’s School we provide a wide range of opportunities in order to make their time in Sixth Form some of the happiest and most fulfilling years of their school career.

Sixth Form life is an exciting change from the highly structured day that pupils are familiar with, to one where they are encouraged to develop independent study skills and are expected to take responsibility for their own learning. Of course, our experienced teaching staff are always happy to offer assistance along the way.

Students will be taught by specialist subject staff who are friendly and happy to offer any support necessary to help. We expect the best efforts from our students and in return they can expect the same from us.

Sixth Form study requires significant commitment from students but, when this is combined with the efforts of our excellent teaching staff, the sky is the limit in terms of what we can achieve together.

While exam results are important, this is a critical time in terms of developing wider skills and personalities. At St George’s, we pride ourselves on instilling success, confidence and self-sufficiency in young people.

We aim to take students on a journey, forging lifelong learning skills and memories. To experience this happy learning environment where students know they are cared for, both academically and pastorally, please come to an Open Day or arrange a Taster Day to find out for yourself.
